Lesson Plan for UCSP

Date: July 9, 2019


I. Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:

A. Express ideas effectively through constructing the meaning of culture;


B. Participate actively through sharing their culture in their house ; and
C. Make use the culture of the Philippines through tableau.
II. Subject Matter:
a. Topic: Culture
b. Materials: Visual aids, whiteboard marker, eraser
c. Reference(s): UCSP Diwa
III. Procedure:
a. Preliminaries
 Prayer
 Arrange Chairs & Pick-up littered trash
 Attendance

b. Activity
The students will be grouped into 5 and the students will give their own ideas through giving
definitions about the following scrambled letters.
CULTURE
c. Analysis
The teacher will ask what is the word and what is their idea when they heard the word culture.
d. Abstraction
The teacher will discuss the topic and the students were expected to ask questions.
e. Application
Group Activity:
The students will think 2 culture in the Philippines and they will choose a representative who will
explain their tableau.
Criteria:
Organization – 15
Creativity - 10
Voice quality - 5
IV. Evaluation:
The teacher will ask the students if there are parts of the lesson they don’t understand.
V. Assignment: Assignment
1. Cite a concrete examples of non-material culture
