SUBJECT : SHORTAGE OF SBMA ANTI-PILFERAC
DATE : duly 16, 2020
This refers to the shortage of SBMA Anti-Pilferage Seal due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the
following procedures shall be applied effective immediately UNTIL sufficient supply is available:
4. For containers subject for inspection, the company representative shall provide a padlock
and masking tape which shall be used as temporary replacement of the SBMA Anti-
Pilferage Seal
2. After inspection, the Cargo Checker shall lock the container/s and attach his signature
using a permanent marker on the masking tape securely locking it on the padlock.
3. The Cargo Checker shall log the container/s number/s in their corresponding logbook for
reference,
4, In instances where the container/s is/are opened without the presence of a Cargo Checker,
the company will be in violation of Seaport procedures and will be dealt with accordingly.
