Please be advised that our office herein Fresno represents the interests of
Briseida and Sukhjinder Stan and ther family. Over the past few days, there has been
2 flury of media activity as elated to tragic disappearance ofthe couple's beloved 2
year old lite boy, Thaddeaus Sran. Notwithstanding their very considerable worry and
concern as related to these events, Mr. and Mrs. Sran nonetheless have necessarily
accepted the fact that this type of troublesome event is necessary news worthy.
‘On thoir behalf, however, my concern and that of theirs, of course, fs he fact that
it has been represented thatthe parents have purportedly “stopped cooperating" in the
investigation, and that they are continuing to do so, This particular allegation is
extremely troublesome to Mr. and Mis, Sran, as wel as to their extended family
Indeed, this assertion is not accurate in the fst instance, and as wel, causes them all
considerable additional distress over and above the constant worries and fears
attendant to that which might have happened to their litle son
‘The fact ofthe matiris that both parents immediately cooperated with law
enforcement by giving their respective statements as to the circumstances associated
with their discovery of Thaddeaus having become missing. However, after having‘communicated ful wit law enforcement subsequent to Thaddeaus' disappearance, |
‘am advised thatthe officers suddenly, and surprisingly under the circumstances,
became accusatory in their questioning of Mr and Mr. Sran
Subsequent thereto, Sukhjinder Sran contacted me and conveyed to me the
nature ofthe above-noted circumstances. | was advised that both he and his wife had
become particularly troubled as related to the sudden change in the dialogue
In ight of what hac apparently become the accusatory nature of the interrogation
ofthis couple, | advised them in no uncertain terms to cease speaking with law
enforcement without the presence oftheir attorney. They were instructed to relay to law
enforcement that they were represented by counsel, and that they would, in ight of the
Citcumstances, respond to futher questioning, but only inthe company oftheir
attomey, namely the undersigned
| am advised by the Srans that thereafter, no further effort was made by
members of law enforcement to personally speak with them further
In the final analysis, Sukhjinder and Briseida Sran remain available to do
anything possible o assist in the investigation and in the hope of being able to locate
their beloved son and to tring him home,
