2. Systems Manager: One Post (Regular) - UR
Job Profile: System Manager will head IT Department under the supervision of Chairman (IT
Services) with following broad duties:-
a) Evaluation of users’ requirements & providing support thereto.
b) Ensuring functionality of the system.
c) Planning & implementing IT budget.
d) Undertaking procurement & upgradation as per Govt. policies in vogue.
e) Maintenance & safeguard of various hardware & software.
f) Installation of New Systems.
g) Observance of all statutory provisions in procurement / licensing etc.
h) Managing sudden breakdowns, attacks, viruses including recovery of hardware & software.
i) Training & Mentoring of support staff.
Qualification: MCA/B. Tech. in Computer Science with first class or equivalent from a
reputed institute. Should have a consistently good academic record throughout.
Qualification: Master’s degree preferably in Management with first class or equivalent from a
reputed institute.

General Information/Conditions:-
1. Candidates should read carefully the requisite minimum essential qualifications & experience
given in the advertisement before applying for the relevant post.
3. Based on the candidates’ suitability, the positions will be either on regular scale of pay or
contractual basis (consolidated monthly emoluments).
4. Candidates not found suitable for the position applied for, may be considered for a lower
position.
5. The Institute reserves the right not to select any position without assigning any reason.

6. The Institute reserves the right to change/apply appropriate short-listing criteria in case of large
number of applications.
7. Salary and Emoluments will be commensurate with qualification & relevant experience.
8. Mere fulfilling of the minimum qualifications and experience will not confer any right to the
candidates for being called for interview or/and for his/her selection.
10. No correspondence whatsoever, will be entertained from candidates regarding conduct and
result of interview and reasons for not being called for interview.
12. The application form without the self-attested copies of all relevant certificates (both experience
and Education) will be rejected.
13. The application should be sent by Registered / Speed Post only. Hand delivery of applications
will not be accepted.
14. The Institute shall not be responsible for any postal delay.
15. Selected candidates will be required to join the duties with in one month.
16. Outstation candidates called for interview for the posts will be paid travel allowance from the
place of travel to Raipur and back by the shortest route through Demand Draft or NEFT on
submission of valid to & fro tickets. Travel Allowance (TA) will be paid as per following
norms:-
a) Placement Officer : AC II tier or class actually travelled whichever is lower
b) System Manager : AC II tier or class actually travelled whichever is lower
c) Administrative Officer : AC III tier or class actually travelled whichever is lower
d) Personal Assistant : AC III tier or class actually travelled whichever is lower
e) Office Assistant : AC III tier or class actually travelled whichever is lower
f) Driver : Sleeper Class / Bus fare actually travelled whichever is lower
17. Local travel charges and daily allowance will not be reimbursed.
18. Candidates are required to bring interview call letter at the time of interview along with the
copies of the relevant certificates in original for verification.
20. The Interview will be held at IIM Raipur campus. The details will be put up on website.
Candidates may visit the website regularly for any updates.
22. Application fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates are
therefore requested to verify their eligibility before paying the application fee.

23. The candidates applying against reserved posts are required to attach the attested copies of
relevant certificate issued from the concerned Competent Authority in the Performa as
prescribed by the Govt. of India. The Institute follows the central list in the case of OBCs.
24. IIM Raipur follows GoI policy on reservation. The selection to the advertised posts will be
made as per the category mentioned against each vacancy. However everything being equal,
preference will be given to the reserved candidate.
26. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria may submit their application on the prescribed
Application Form along-with prescribed fee, testimonials and latest passport size photograph to
“The Chief Administrative Officer, Indian Institute of Management Raipur, GEC
Campus, Sejbahar, Raipur 492 015 through Registered / Speed Post only in a sealed
envelope super scribed “Application for the post of (Name of the post applied) in IIM
Raipur”.
27. The last date for receipt of completed application forms is 10th January 2015.
