1. What is driving marketing to change?


Earlier sellers aim was to fool the customers about the product and to sell them. But now,
marketing is change and relies on genuinity. As customers satisfaction is utmost
important hence the company offers the most genuine products offering high upgrades
and offering good customer service is driving market to change.

2. How should marketing respond to these changes?


Marketing is accepting the concept of genuinity. They rely on the factor of providing
customers satisfaction by taking reviews and rating of the product and offering 24/7
support system for the customers. They believe to develop long term transactions hence
good will of the company is utmost important to them.

3. What was the earlier role of marketing in organization?


Earlier role of marketing in organization to manufacture the product and sell to the
customers any how. They used to fool the customers and no customer services were
provided to the customers. Profit maximization was the only aim of the organization.

4. What should the role of marketing be?


Role of marketing to be to make the customers obsessed with their products and services
by providing extreme customer satisfaction. The product provided to the customers
should be genuine. Company should focus on generating long term transactions. And
customers reviews about the product should be taken in extreme consideration and
customization should be made accordingly. Company should provide good customer
services by providing them with good customer services.

1. What role should marketing professionals play from the point of view of the
customers?
Now a days, with emerging variety and competition the customers want a product
which deliver them with extreme satisfaction and they don’t have to crib after buying
the product. In my opinion before launching a new product, customers should be
provide each and every details of the product and few sample within the organization
and some known customers should be distributed. Reviews of each and every sample
should be taken in consideration and product should be upgraded according to the
reviews of the samples and then distribute to the customers. This will meet the needs
of the customers and will help in building good will as well as long term transactions.

2. What role should marketing professionals play from the point of view of the
organization they are employed in?

As a marketing professionals I should take main consideration as company


sustainability. Due to lot of completion around the world the market research and
product which company is going to launch should be properly studied and created.
Needs of the customers should be taken very much into consideration. Company
sustainability can be possible by building long term transactions and good will. Each
customers should be made special and his/ her views and thoughts and services they
want to access should be considered properly. This will help company in attaining
good market share.
