SERVICE INFORMATION. ‘This procedure must be used where engine throttle systems andlor stop systems give concern, ‘SERVICE PROCEDURE ‘Stop System (See Fig |). Remove existing Stop cable and replace with item A Set up using the following orocedure. 1 Push and hold the solenoid fully in and secure in postion, 2. Adjust the cable at 1 10 ensure there is only enough slack on the nner cable to allow the fuel lever to reach the fll run postion, 3 Ensure there is no misalignment in the cable 4 Release the solenoid and manually push the solenoid to ensure free movement of the cable. 5 fthe machine is ftted with a solenoid stroke imters 2, fully screw in the MIO capscrew 3 with the engine running, Press the emergency stop, then screw out capscrew 3 unt the engine stops, plus one full turn Lod into position with the locknugt 4 Tet yi Tooned Pekan CB See Verdi Ba Ue sie TS ga TA 89 SANT Fa 4 18 37 34 “4 al 6 Tum the ignition off Disconnect the Stop solenoid connector fram the main harness and connect the harness B. @ Route the white cable from the harness B to the relevant starter relay (See Fig 2) securing the cable along its length. Unscrew the nut on the connector of the starter relay and attach the cable. Rectghten the rut leaving the exsting black wire in postion. Note: The new hamess will bypass the original stop solercid relay operation, 9 Test the stoplstart system on the machine. PAGE2OF3 Thrte Stem (Se Fe 3 Remove the throttle Cover 12 (not fitted on SZTOIS2OOWIISAEO) by removing the two Mé bats 5 and discard 2 Unscrew the throttle lever nuts 6 and remove the damper and throttle cable from the lever 7. 3. Remove the grub screw 8 and remove the lever 7. From the shaft 9 4 Unplug the feed back potentiometer 10, Remove the two Mé securing bots and remrane the potentiometer 10 and shaft 9. Remove the bush II from the bass Discarc terns 9, 1D and 11 5 (See fig 4) Remove the three & spool block mounting bolts D ‘and insert the spacers C between the ‘mounting plate and the 8 socal block Re-fit the 8 spoo! block using the new securing botts D. (The spacers C and bot =D are not fitted © on IZ7ONS2O0W/S330/15460) 6 Insert the two bushes E into the barrel F and reft the barrel into the origina! boss, and secure with the two capscrews G. 7. Insert the potentiometer H, making swe that the flat machined edge of the potentiometer shat is vertical and faces the engine. Secure the potertometer with ‘two washers M on efther side of the potentiometer and bolts G Reft the lever 7 and secure with grub screw 8 onto the ft ofthe shaft. Note: Although the potentiometer shaft will turn 360°. it ‘only reads for 90° degrees making @ important to mount the lever and shaft correctly, The end plate on barrel Foes for ft flush with the mounting plate. 8 Re-ft the damper and throwie cable with nuts 6 9 Favthe lnk hamess K between the potentiometer and the main harness. 10 Fic the new throttle cover (not illustrated. not fitted on |IZTOIIS200WIIS3301I5460) and seoure wth bots 5. | Install software (See Techweb buletin 2461), 12.
