Director’s Statement

The subject of my documentary is a woman at the age of 77 a senior citizen. She is living alone in a
native hut that serves as the reception for the pension house. She has a son but she did not see for
around four decades. This is to reach the community that one day they reunite with her son.
Why did you make this documentary?

My subject Caridad Cerbito Morales is my auntie, my mother's younger sister. We own the pension
house where she stays and that's the idea I documented her as I see her daily. This is also to reach the
community that one day her son will see her.
