The idea behind the campaign
Starting situation:
The uvex group’s image calendar, whose imageries were traditionally used for the group-wide communication measures of each
calendar year (e.g. greeting card, advertisements, decoration, email banner), was stopped in 2019.

The "I work to protect people" campaign, which has been running successfully for several years, needs new faces.

The idea behind the campaign
Starting situation:

uvex sports launched its new "wherever you ride" campaign on the occasion of Eurobike 2019.
The campaign shows what the uvex brand stands for: protecting people and therefore the best choice in terms of safety,
function and design.

uvex sports' brand communication uses emotional images and texts – also very logical and consistent - to convey that a uvex
cycling helmet, riding helmet, ski helmet, sports glasses, ski goggles and riding gloves are always the perfect companion: on all
tracks and equally for top athletes, amateur athletes and safety-conscious parents! And as a result from this idea "on all tracks“,
the campaign name "wherever you ride“ was taken.

The idea behind the campaign

Inspired by "wherever you ride" the campaign title "wherever we work" was
created. Across all subgroups, it shows visually how all uvex group employees
worldwide work to protect people.

No matter where the workplace is located: Whether in the uvex group's

marketing department, in the product development department of the uvex
sports group, in the production department of the uvex safety group or at the
reception desk in one of our worldwide branches. We all work together to protect
people. The overarching mission or rather the big bracket for the campaign is
#protecting people.

The advantages of the new campaign "#protecting people wherever we work"

provides new and interesting visual worlds where all corporate divisions and
brands can find themselves. It offers high flexibility to display the most diverse
working worlds within the uvex group and a relevant durability.

The formats

There are different fields of application: a

picture only with some protagonists, a
picture and a video with others and
possibly only a statement about
protecting people with others. This
depends on the respective employee’s
wishes.
