BEAUTIFUL
SURFACES …
Since the establishment of our company in 1921 we
have been developing and producing high-performance
polishing agents in solid and liquid form as well as
wheels and discs as polishing agent carriers.

The residues accumulating during polishing can be

removed particularly well with the proven degreasing
agents from the EKASIT – and SURFACLEAN-series
which are specially tailored to our products.

Viscosity

This is determined by the water phase:

oil phase and guarantees optimum flow
characteristics in the application.

Grease hardness
1
2 It plays an important part in the selection of the
3 polishing agent carriers such as discs and wheels
4 and influences the effectiveness of the polishing
grain used during the machining process.

Sharpness and abrasiveness

The abrasiveness of a polishing paste or compound is decisively
influenced by the type of abrasive grain used. Their proportions
yield products with certain properties from 10
(= very abrasive) to 1 (= very mild) – completely in accordance
with your requirements.

By the incorporation of different abrasive grains in the

fleece material a surface finish from coarse to very fine
can be obtained. Mainly red fleece with aluminium oxide
grain is used. Grey fleece contains harder and more
abrasive silicon carbide.
