Frasa Nama
(Noun Phrase)
Frasa nama/kata nama merujuk kepada manusia/orang, benda, haiwan, tempat,
tumbuh-tumbuhan dan sebagainya. Frasa nama/kata nama terbahagi kepada dua iaitu
kata nama khas dan kata nama am.
(Noun phrase refers to people, objects, animals, places, plants and so on. Noun phrase can be
categorized into two which are proper nouns and common nouns)

Kata nama khas

(Proper noun)
Kata nama khas ialah kata nama yang merujuk nama sesuatu benda yang khusus dan
ejaannya dimulakan dengan huruf besar. Kata nama khas digunakan untuk menyebut
benda yang bernyawa dan benda yang tidak bernyawa.
(Proper noun is a noun that refers to specific name of an objects and its start with letter should
be capitalized. Proper noun is used for both living and non-living things)

Kata nama am
(Common noun)
Kata nama am ialah kata nama yang digunakan untuk merujuk manusia, haiwan,
benda, tumbuh-tumbuhan dan tempat. Kata nama am ditulis dengan huruf kecil pada
permulaan kata kecuali jika ditulis pada awal ayat.
(Common noun is a noun that refers to people, animals, objects, plants and places. Common
noun is spelled with small letter except if it is written at the beginning of a sentence)
