You are on page 1of 5

You served 19 years in a harsh prison for stealing a loaf

of bread as you were starving. You are pursued

relentlessly by a policeman who is convinced you are
guilty of other crimes. You have changed your name in
order to create a new life for yourself.
What do you do if the policeman finds you?

You are a single mother, struggling to provide for her

daughter. You work hard at an honest job in a factory,
but because you have a daughter to provide for, you
never have any money for yourself. You never see your
daughter because she lives with relatives a long way
away.
What do you do if you lose your job and income?
You are a policeman dedicated to the law. You don’t
care why people commit crimes; you only care about
catching them and sending them to prison. You have no
family or friends as you have spent your whole life
chasing criminals. You have been following one
particular criminal for many years.
What do you do if you catch him?

You and your wife are pub landlords, but you are not
honest. You steal from your customers, commit fraud
and do not pay your taxes. No-one trusts you and you
have no real friends. You have a son, but you treat him
like a servant, doing the dirty work that you don’t want to
do
What do you do if you are found out by the
government?
You are homeless and have been for a long time. You
try not to commit crimes, but sometimes you have to
steal in order to eat. You long for a ‘normal life’ where
you have a house, a family and a job where you can
forget the terrors of living on the streets. Many times you
have witnessed crimes being committed.
What would you do if you found the winning lottery
ticket on the floor?

You have no job, and rely on benefits from the

government to buy things and pay rent. You have no
interest in getting a job to earn money for yourself as
you are comfortable with the money the government
provides. You spend your time doing what you like,
when you like.
What would you do if the government took your
benefits away?
You are a burglar, committing crimes daily. You steal in
order to afford nice things, such as big houses, watches
and cars. You do no honest work, and have never been
caught committing a crime. You believe that you can
continue living this lifestyle forever and never face any
consequences.
What would you do if you got caught?

You are a member of the police force, but you are

dishonest. You take bribes from criminals so they are
never caught. Your colleagues believe that you are an
honest policeman, but you are spending a lot of money
on nice things that you didn’t earn honestly, but through
bribery and blackmail.
What would you do if your boss found out?
You live a normal life, with a family, a house and a job.
To the outside world you are a law-abiding citizen, but
you have a terrible secret. A long time ago, you killed a
man. You killed him because he tried to kill you, and
because he was homeless with nobody to miss him, you
buried his body and continued your life as usual. You
have never been suspected of anything.
What would you do if a policeman came to the door
asking questions about the man you killed?

You are a victim of crime. Your house was broken into

recently and many of your precious items were stolen or
broken. The burglars killed your dog as it was barking.
You have no insurance to replace the items that were
stolen, so you are trying to go on with your life and re-
build.
What would you do if you had the opportunity to
replace your items, but it meant stealing them from
someone else?
