ETHNIC ART

The term 'Ethnic Art' is a catch all designation which describes the cultural creations of non-Western societies.

ISLAMIC ART
Islamic art is not art of a specific religion, time, place, or of a single medium . Instead it spans some 1400 years, covers
many lands and populations, and includes a range of artistic fields including architecture, calligraphy , painting, glass,
ceramics , and textiles, among others.
SPANISH ERA

The Spanish era, sometimes called the era of Caesar,


was a calendar era commonly used in the states of the
Iberian Peninsula from the 5th century until the 15th, when
it was phased out in favour of the Anno Domini system.

AMERICAN ERA
The history of the Philippines from 1898 to 1946 describes the period of American colonization of the Philippines.

JAPANESE ERA

The Japanese era name, also known as


gengō, is the first of the two elements that
identify years in the Japanese era calendar
scheme.
MODERN ERA

The modern era includes the early period, called the early modernity include: The Rise of the Ottoman
early modern period, which lasted from c. 1500 to Empire. The Reformation and Counter Reformation. The
around c. 1800 (most often 1815). Particular facets of Sengoku period.

CONTEMPORARY ERA
Contemporary history, in English-language historiography, is a subset of modern history which describes the historical
period from approximately 1945 to the present.
