1 In recent years technology and science have advanced, making our daily lives easier, but at the

same time pollution has increased considerably, causing irreversible damage to our planet.

Due to the increase in factories and industrial areas, many water sources have been polluted, air
pollution has increased, mainly from thermal power plants that burn fossil fuels, and the
production of greenhouse gases has worn down the ozone layer.

Fortunately, not everything is bad. Thanks to technology, new, more environmentally friendly
forms of energy have been developed, such as solar energy, as well as systems for the
environmentally friendly disposal of chemical waste.

I think that the important is to know how to make use of technological advances and not being
carried away by ambition.

2 According to Dinero magazine, consumers are looking for unique, sophisticated, good quality,
value-added products that are related to artisanal processes and sustainability. The industry tries
to satisfy this demand, bringing to the market increasingly advanced technological prototypes,
which in turn are leaving a great irreversible environmental impact, because with technological
progress also increases pollution and scarcity of natural resources. At the moment the world
powers are in a war for power and every day they want to advance further by destroying the
world in their wake. If we do not make a change and continue to increase levels of consumption, in
the end there will no longer be a place to live in.

3 Our current environmental crisis is growing every day because of ourselves consumerism and
ambition. I think that is necessary be aware of this catastrophic situation, together we can take
actions and do it something for the planet, the change is made by each one of us. United Nations
can call on governments implement drastic measures and eco-friendly technology to reverse the
damage, the earth could be renovated and we will have a place to live in for many years more.
