Requirements
DEPARTMENT
Budgets - A BCom or equivalent qualification with Accounting as a major
subject.
- At least 5 to 8 years relevant experience
- Knowledge of local government legislation, policies and
procedures.
SALARY - SAP FI/CO and PPM knowledge will be advantageous
- Computer literacy in MS Office software (Excel, etc.)
TCOE: R 840 607 p.a - Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under tight timeframes with various deadlines.

- Advise, assist and support line departments in respect of the
preparation and compilation of their annual Operating Budget and
CLOSING DATE
Adjustment Budgets on expenditure and revenue in accordance
with legislative requirements.

- Advise, assist and support line departments in respect of budgetary
control and monitoring procedures in accordance to statutory and
ELIGIBILITY internal requirements.
- Advise on and ensure implementation of budgetary control policies
Suitably qualified candidate and procedures by line departments in order to comply with
statutory, internal requirements and to maintain integrity of the
Operating Budget.
- Analyse and provide financial information required for
reports/returns according to prescribed legislative and organisational
requirements.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as required within the Operating Budget
Section.
