OFFICE OF THE REGIONAL DIRECTOR AERONAUTICAL QUALITY ASSURANCE (HAL) DGAQA, MINISTRY OF DEFENCE HYDERABAD ~ 500 042 ORDAQA (HAL) is providing QA coverage at M/s HAL for AVIONICS Division and SLRDC, BEL, ECIL, DRDO Labs (DLRL/DRDLIRC!) and private suppliers directly associated with these firms and also against supplies directly placed by users on these private companies. ORDAQA is associated both with development and production activities of airborne and ground equipments for IAF and other defence services. The activities of ORDAQA are spread over from activities associated with approval of firm QMS, periodical monitoring, associating with development activities, carrying out QA during production and maintenance cycle of the stores. Currently ORDAQA is associated with development, production and repair / overhaul of AVIONICS LRUs of communication, radar, flight _ control armamentiweapon control, navigation system etc., at M/s HAL, Hyderabad, DLRL BEL, ECIL and other vendors. The projects are associated with MIG series aircraft SU 30 MKI, LCA, HJT, Jaguar variants, All variants of Helicopters in Service, UAVs Also aircraft Batteries / ground system batteries at M/s HBL are being provided QA coverage. ORDAQA is providing QA coverage during development of AVIONICS LRUs by M/s HAL for AVIONICS up gradation of aircraft, helicopters and Non - ToT LRUs to mitigate the obsolescence management and to reduce tumaround time of maintenance cycle associated with foreign vendors and also seff sufficient resulting in FE savings As part of Make in India programme, ORDAQA is providing QA coverage for sub systems of Precision Approach Radar (PAR), SAFT Battery for Pilatus, FOG for AVRO, 1553B couplers which are under various stages of development.
