The fear of being judged, Just by the color of my skin, Or the gender I am, How can we live, How can I live a normal life,
All the opportunities I have missed,
The jobs I have missed out on, The insurance policies I never got, We all are judged at least once, Some more than others, So I ask again, How can we normal Americans live, In a world full of judgement, And so much hatred in the world, How can we live, When we all discriminate one another.
Or maybe just going out,
With a fear deep in our souls, That the men and women who, Are supposed to keep us safe, Don’t.
