Vocabulary

Cryptography: a formal language that is used to
communicate instructions to a computer.
Encryption: the process of converting information
or data into a code, especially to prevent
unauthorized access.
Decryption: the conversion of encrypted data or
messages into its original form.
Escape Room: a physical adventure game in which
players solve a series of puzzles and riddles using
clues, hints, and strategy to complete the objec-
tives at hand.
Caesar Cypher: is one of the simplest and most
widely known encryption techniques. It is a type of
substitution cipher in which each letter in the
plaintext is replaced by a letter some fixed number
of positions down the alphabet.
Rosicrucian Cypher: an encryption technique which
exchanges letters for grid parts and dots.
Date Coding: an encryption technique which
exchanges letters for numbers of a specific date.
