Performance Management and It’s Relations

The process of communication between the supervisor and employee for fulfilling the
strategic objectives of the organization is the performance management. Performance
management has obtained attention for improving the results in the challenging economic
condition. As per the Warren (1982), performance management is the systematic application
of processes pointed at enlarging performance in the organization. Performance management
helps the employees to understand how they can fulfil the organizational strategic
goals[CITATION Uga13 \l 3081 ]. The arrangement of the lines of authority, communications
and duties of the organization is organizational structure. Organizational structure can hold
down or increase performance which is dependent on how the supervisory relationships and
workflow affects productivity. If there is not policies and procedures in the organization
which are consistently followed through the organization, the strategies of performance
management can fail to obtain their goal of better product and quality service[ CITATION
Chr17 \l 3081 ]. Performance measurement is the sub process of performance management
which emphasis on tracking and evaluation by using the indicators. Performance management
is applicable at three different levels strategic, operational and individual performance
management[ CITATION int10 \l 3081 ]. The process by which employees job performance is
measured and evaluated is performance appraisal. Performance appraisal are very important
for career and successful development. According to Kewin Dwyer performance appraisal
should be the chance for the organizer in the organization to set the enhanced opportunity for
their workforce [ CITATION Mai11 \l 3081 ]. The way of the workplace is impacted by two
central point. One component agreeable to hierarchical control is the execution of its chiefs or
administrators. Supervisory specialists set the atmosphere of the working environment
through their different administration and supervisory practices. In turn, associations have the
chance to shape the working environment atmosphere by how they contract, prepare, and
treat their managers. The other arrangement of work environment components that influence
execution is the workgroup itself; workgroup progression and loyalties are beyond the control
of the association[ CITATION Ala13 \l 3081 ].
