Contract of Employment

I _____________________________________ is bound by the conditions of this contract I will

faithfully serve in the position entrusted to me
Duties:
Your duties are outlined in the Job Description attached to this agreement
Full Time Service:
(i) You shall not either directly engaged or become concerned in trade or private
professional practice but shall devote the whole of your time and attention to
the service of the __________________________________ and shall use
your uttermost exertions to promote the interest of the students in your charge

Mondays to Fridays Your service may however be needed beyond the time

Remuneration
Basic Salary:
Statutory Payments:
Income Tax Education Tax and contributions to the National Housing Trust the National
Insurance Scheme will be deducted from the remuneration payable to you in accordance with the
regulations and rates in force from time to time
Leave:
(a) Casual
(b) Sick

In case of prolonged illness both sick and casual leaves will be utilized and the school reserves
the right to terminate this contract in extreme cases
Termination:
(a) This contract may be terminated by either party giving _____________ weeks notice in
writing
 (b) Where the _______________________ chooses to terminate your engagement it may be
to provide _______________________ salary in lieu of notice
(c) Reasons for which your contract may be terminated include:
(a) Any criminal offence which in the opinion of the Board of Management brings the

(b) Any serious persistent breach of the provisions hereof
(c) Gross misconduct or willful neglect in discharge of your duties
(d) Insanity
(e) Persistent illness/Poor health
