The laser is switched on. it forms a red spot on the screen,

Course Outcome: Perform the experiments using optical fibre to measure
numerical aperture of a given fibre and laser to measure the divergence.
Aim: - The objective of this experiment is to measure the numerical aperture of
the plastic fiber provided with the kit using 660nm wavelength LED.

5. Connect a voltmeter as shown in the figure.
6. Initially rotate the knob of Threshold Detector so that the seven-
segment display is offi.e. there is no reading on it.
7, Nowrotate the knob of threshold detector in the other direction slowly
until the display just starts.
8 Move any flat object up and down the ultrasonic sensors. Make sure
thet the object is parallel to the techbook
9, Observe the seven-segment display as it shows the distance (in meters)
between the ultrasonic sensors and the object:
