Subject: Alford e-Books

We recommend starting with the book "English - with Alford Books. Next, review the
catalog and pick the books that interest you. Please note that Alford Books come in
three levels: 1) Easy; 2) Interim and 3) Advanced.
The stories include: a determined turtle jumps; hedgehogs hug; animals working
together to put out jungle fire and a monkey overcomes too much TV.
On the DVD are 50 different English books and over 100 international translations. The
draft videos from You Tube are also available in the videos folder.

We appreciate Alford Books being used in classrooms and with global students! Please

distribute the books. We are always looking for illustrators and translators

The goal is to provide free eBooks to teach English to global students. May English open

 History of Alford Books

Many people ask "Why does Alford Books, give away books?" To answer the
question, need to understand three things about why we make 'Alford
Books!' First, it started two decades ago when our children were in
elementary school in America. In our opinion, the school was not teaching
our kids critically important life subjects like practical math, simple to
understand science, how the past influences the present; values and
flexibility to adapt to an ever changing world. We volunteered at our
children's elementary classroom.
As the kids grew, it reached a point where it was no longer "cool" for dad to
go to school any more. The presentations sat on the bookcase shelves for
over a decade. Pakaket, my wonderful wife is from Thailand. She was
fortunate that she was adopted by Americans. This improved her life and
left her with a longing to improve the lives of others. She looked at all the
source data sitting on our shelves and said, "we should turn these into books
and give them to the schools in eastern Thailand." During the second phase
of Alford Books, we polished the English books and translated them into
Thai. We enjoy giving them away to the people of Thailand. We think that
the more that people communicate in common languages, the more peace and
prosperity there will be.
Third, we would like to donate our books to as many schools as possible.
Our goal is to simply give away as many of our e-books throughout ASEAN.
Our Copyright reads, "Teachers may copy this book for classroom use."
Teachers teach and learners learn, languages and subjects, one fun story at
a time.
