hello guys today the topic is gonna be a little technical but I'll break it down to

easy for you guys to understand and basically we're gonna talk about refreshing
the cydia sources and how often or why you should do it at all.
so for the ones who dont know cydia or repo sources are the actual websites that
are hosted and carries the tweaks for you to download. These sources or repo as we
call it
works perfectly when they are maintained by the developer or the host of the
website however if they fail to do so it might go bad and probably starts to give
issues
in your cydia that would make it freeze or lag and will cause you numerous problems
when you update your packages and stuff like that

so for the first step we'll start by refreshing the repos first and see if there
are any bad repos in it basically that are giving you errors like these
if you have found some just make a list of them or take a screenshot or whatever
just remember it cause we're gonna be using it in the following steps.
now we have to delete these repos either by manually deleting in the cydia app or
by using any software to do it. lets start with a simple procedure

I'll tell you a quick solution that you can use is the iCieaner Pro and clean
Cydia, sources, and unused dependencies run it once a week maybe

or for the better part you can

Use ifile or whatever you use from the pc or use the famous filza file manager that
is hosted by the bigboss repo to browse your device and then youve to go to:
/private/etc/apt/sources.list.d and open the cydia.list file and remove the sources
name which are not working at the moment and press save.
the nect step is to go to /private/var/lib/apt/list and in that folder delete the
files of the repositeries you dont need or have gone bad.
This will delete the temporary cache of cydia and is supposed to solve all the
problems that cydia has accumulated over time.
When you open cydia next time it will start fresh and fast.
Now if the repos are hosting the tweaks that you use you should download it again
with the updated link you can however follow their developers on reddit or twitter
where they are most active or search it off google.
