Light Control (ALC) algorithm
that calculates the optimum light
output level, not just for the current
conditions – but those likely to follow
as well.
This location-based tuning
conserves power to reduce the
risk of the battery running dry –
especially in higher latitudes and in
locations prone to long periods of
cloud cover. But in locations where
prevailing solar conditions pose little
risk to power levels, Night Star’s
ALC algorithm squeezes every bit of
luminance out of the device, barely
letting a single photon go to waste.
In fact, Night Star beacons are
typically visible more than four
nautical miles away, and
battery life extends
to five years of
continuous use!

Night Star’s on-board user interface
is easy to use: simply input the
geographic position and choose
from more than 250 selectable flash
patterns. Where multiple devices are
to be configured, a USB connection
and PC-based software helps make
setup a breeze.
The Go-anywhere Beacon
High output and maintenance-free
operation means Night Star beacons
are particularly well suited to outdoor
locations requiring lighting or marking
but where electricity is not available,
including obstruction lighting,
pathway marking, construction and
work zone identification, boundary
warning, hazard alerts, pipeline
