Static acquisition method can be used using forensic tools with capability to get data from
emails such OSForensics. Disk to image or disk to disk copy can be made.

Postings on Yahoo reveal a kidnapping


Live acquisition can be done in this situation so that the evidence on the internet can be acquired
before some can temper. Disk to image method can be used.

2005 Dennis Rader --- The "BTK" Serial Killer


Floppy disks are not used now a days. Thus, best acquisition method will be disk to image so
that the image can be used transferred into another device without using floppy disk. Also, most
of all the forensics tools can extract deleted data.

As four computers were seized, and live acquisition could be hard. Thus, static acquisition can be
done on the station.
