Edwyn Posted: Fri Jan 26, 2007 10:09 am Post subject: The Singular Conspiracy - Part One
In this clip, Detective Yuen Kazahana gives a firsthand account of his investigation into the serial
killings of 471, leading him to discover the existence of the Kazahana Family Mass Battle. Never has
the duty to serve and protect weighed so heavily. Originally conceived as a collaborative project, an
interactive graphic novel with audio, this fell by the wayside and became a radioplay.

Laura Post - I love your thoroughly professional "deep and mature" female voice, which I think suits
the part of Teruko perfectly (as well as many other roles requiring a grown WOMAN's touch. Teeny
bopper girls beware!) - the conversation you have with Lucien was fun to mix due to how calm, cool
and collected you are as Teruko, presenting a dichotomy to Yuen's confused and mildly perturbed
state. I'm just sad that there isn't likely to be any more of Teruko in the immediate future of this
series.
D-Mac Double - You haven't had a chance to stretch your acting muskels yet, but watch out for
Momoshiro in part 2 of this series! From the opening and the teaser at the end though, I'd say you
have Momoshiro's rebellious and annoying attitude down pat! And thanks for doing the CSI guy as
well!

Thanks! This was like.... at least twice as long as my previous works - even longer as I finally get
underway for the second episode! Glad to hear the extra length hasn't gone to waste!

G-Force: Yeah, it seems that a lot of Gear Zero's characters are getting a bum rap - getting killed
almost the very instant they get introduced in whatever work they appear in. Kinda a drag that, so
I'm happy to give Yuen a bit of his own space here, instead of just being a footnote in somebody
else's story.

unicomics2005: I used Cool Edit Pro (AKA Adobe Audition AKA Adobe Soundbooth) to mix all my
productions. It's a pretty intuitive program to use.
And to everybody else: thank you for taking the time to listen to this and I'm glad you enjoyed this
piece, my longest audioplay yet. The next episode will come out after I've gotten out several other
Kazahana projects that have been on the backburner.... A couple of (fairly extended) one shots and a
continuation of the "A Judge's Duties" series (hopefully coming soon on that one).

Even though I am credited under the script I am as clueless about the second part XD.
And the preview was definitely killing me. Superb acting and suspension.
