Activity 3

This is intended to show that listening and responding is crucial to business and
communication.

This is a drawing exercise so please prepare a pen/pencil and a piece of paper, preferable an
A4 paper.

We will have three (3) students try to communicate with the entire class. They will describe a
figure I have sent them. The entire class wilt try their best to listed to their description
(instructions). They will not be allowed to show the figure to the class.

Part 1 - The student will ask us to draw what he or she sees. No one is allowed to ask any
question. The student however may ask us a yes or no question to which we may answer.

Part 2 - The student will ask us to draw what he or she sees. We are allowed to ask questions.
The student may answer yes or no question to the questions posed by any member of the
class.

Part 3 - The student will ask us to draw what he or she sees. We are allowed to ask questions.
The student may respond as needed and we may ask questions and seek clarification.
