The process of making whiskey.


Researches: Funes Santiago and Rodriguez Samuel.

Introduction:

The whiskey was made in


1405 for the first time. He
has from 40% to 60% of
alcohol. There are differents
tipes of whiskey. The
whiskey is produced in
different parts of world. Is
very expensive but is very
delicius. He has a color dark
orange and it is bright. Their
production is constantly
getting better.

Process:

Malted:

1) The barley is soaked in wáter and this


germinate until its roots appear. The
germination is stoped and toasting the
barley in the furnace of malta (Kiln).
Soaking:
2) The malt is grounded, and the barley is
mixed with hot wáter.
3) The barley is poured in a cuba call
“mashtun”.
4) The starch is becomes in must.
Fermentation:
5) The must is moved a washbacks
where ferment with yeast.
6) The must is converted in wash.

Distillation

7) The wash is distilled. First, the wash is converted in “low wines” and after
the wash acquired flavor to whiskey. The wash is converted in burning
water.

Agind:

8) The burning water is deposited


in barrels of oak.
9) The burning water is rest for
various years.
10) The burning water is converted
in whiskey pure of malt.

Bottling:

11) The whiskey is filtered and


bottling.
12) The whiskey is sold to public.
