    Axis Mutual Fund

    Axis Asset Management Company Ltd., the formal name of Axis Mutual Fund, is the mutual
    fund investment wing of Axis Bank, the 3 rd largest private bank in India. 74.99% share of the
    AMC is held by Axis Bank while the rest 24% is held by Schroder Singapore Holdings Private
    Limited.

    The AMC was incorporated back in October 2009 and has since abided by its three pillars:

    I. Outside-in view – Communicate with customers in their language to assist better in taking the
    right investment decision.

    II. Long-term wealth creation – Encourage investors to create a long-term investment strategy
    and play a critical role in their wealth management.

    III. Long-term relationship – Build relationships beyond finances.

    As of 31st March 2019, the total asset under management (AuM) of this company stood at
    around Rs. 89,700 Crore.

    Axis Asset Management Company Ltd. is present in more than 90 cities India. It has over 20
    Lakh investors and offers more than 170 investment schemes.
