Arietta
Yak and merino blend for
squishable luxury in worsted
weight Arietta. Available in a
palette of soft mid tones that
blend beautifully in stripes and
colorblocks.

Relaxed and casual, this pullover


is worked from the bottom up
in the round to the underarm
then divided, and the back and
front are worked separately.
Decorative eyelets and decreases
adorn the front. Drop shoulder
sleeves are picked up from the
body and worked to the cuff.

obtain gauge.

Waste yarn or stitch holders.

Gauge
20 sts and 28 rows = 4" in Stockinette
stitch. Take time to save time, check
your gauge.

Pattern Stitches
Stockinette Stitch (St st):
Flat – Knit on the RS, purl on the WS.
In the Rnd – Knit on all sts every rnd.

Body
CO 168 (188, 208, 232, 252, 272) sts. Join to work in the rnd, being careful not
to twist sts. Pm for BOR and pm 84 (94, 104, 116, 126, 136) sts from BOR.

Work even in St st until pc meas 15½ (16, 16, 16½, 16½, 17)" from beg and
end last rnd 3 (4, 5, 5, 6, 7) sts from end.

Divide for sleeves:


BO the next 6 (8, 10, 10, 12, 14) sts [3 (4, 5, 5, 6, 7) sts before marker and 3 (4,
5, 5, 6, 7) sts after marker], work until 3 (4, 5, 5, 6, 7) sts before marker and sl
the sts just worked to holder or waste yarn for front. BO the next 6 (8, 10, 10,

Sleeves
Sew shoulder seams.
With RS facing, pick up 74 (78, 80, 82, 86, 88) sts along armhole opening for
sleeve. Work even in St st for 2", ending with WS row.

*Dec row (RS): K1, k2tog, work until 3 sts rem ssk, k1 – 2 sts dec’d.
Work 5 rows even.
Rep from * 15 (16, 16, 16, 16, 17) times more – 42 (44, 46, 48, 52, 52) sts. Work
even until sleeve meas 21" or desired length. BO all sts loosely.

Finishing
Neck finishing: With shorter circ needle, Work 48 (50, 50, 52, 52, 52) sts from
back and 48 (50, 50, 52, 52, 52) sts from front in the rnd in St st for 3 (3, 3, 3½,
3½, 3½)" – 96 (100, 100, 104, 104, 104) sts. BO all sts LOOSELY.

Sew sleeve seams, sewing top edges of each sleeve into armhole notch.
Weave in ends.
