John returns to his house after he attends to his friend house, Freddy.

house before sunrise. This day he decides to go to the Penang, he uses his friend private boat and sail it
from Seberang Perai to Jetty at George Town. After thirty minutes he arrived at George Town. He saves
his time by sailing early in the morning. He plans to have a tour around George Town, so he searches
some from the internet about place of interest in George Town. He seized an idea and writes it on a
piece of paper.

He walks at the Chowrasta Street and he sees a lot of sellers sell “Jeruk”. He wants to buy some
because he want to send it to his family, they like it very much. After one hour walking he feel very
hungry and he go to the famous restaurant, Kapitan at Chulia Street. The waiters serve him teh tarik and
roti canai. When he drinks teh tarik, he remembers his favourite milk shake made by his mother. They
share a lot of happiness when they together.

The most attractive thing in Penang is “barber” mostly run by Indian, he likes the massage after
shaving, and it is just nice and relaxing with low budget. A long the busy crowded road he can see many
stalker selling their goods, The Penang Little India look like a festival, they shout “jaja” and some of
them, show their own creativity to a attract people to come to their shop, the most thing he likes is
“Bunga Malai”. Mostly they shut the shop for a weekend.

After that he goes to Padang Kota Lama, he sit and relaxes there and many activities people do here,
he sees some young teenage skating and some people demonstrate Malay traditional song by playing
violin. Three hundred year ago, Francis Light came here and took this island and named it as The Prince
of Wales Island, they start to develop this island and they get the support from British Government.
Resident doesn’t like them because the steal their wealth.

Actually his plan is to stay at George Town for a few days, just now he speak to his mom and he change
his mind he will go to Kuala Lumpur tonight. He stands up and he went to Jetty. From Jetty he uses a
ferry to go to Seberang Perai. On the ferry he stand at the side and look at the Penang Bridge, and he
like the smell of the fresh sea water, he really like to sail when he was in Britain. Sometimes the sea
water splash to his face and it make him smile because he was afraid of sea when he was childhood. His
father died because of the poison fish stung his father.

After a vacation in Penang, he finally meets with his mother and his dog Spotty, the dog like John to
strokes him. His mother makes some milk shake, his favourite, his mother stirs the sugar and some of
the milk spill out from the mug. John takes the mop and sweeps it for his mother. His mother said to him
“when the water spill out, people will sweep it, when it is in the mug people drink it” He remember
something about himself. Put yourself in a good position people will respect you. He has to study a lot
from his life after his father has gone. He feel very tired, he goes to his room slide the door slowly and
sleep. Tomorrow is a new life to begin.
