ANNE AVANTIE

Once upon a time in Solo City, there was a little girl named Sianne Avantie. Her parents
are Chinese. Her father is a repairman, meanwhile her mother is a hairdresser.
“Mom, may I borrow your sewing equipments?” asked Anne
“What do you want to do? Aren't you supposed to do homework for tomorrow?” said her
mother.
“my homework already done, and I want to try to make a hair band decoration. You really
inspiring me, you always makes people beautiful by your hands ” said anne
“Wow,thank you! You can take my sewing equipments on the drawer of my room”
“Thanks mom”
Anne started make a hair band decoration. She tried repeatedly to make a hair band
decoration for a few hours. And tadaa! Finally she succeeded
“Wow! You did great, I really appreciate your efforts, I believe that you will be a successful
person in the future” said her mom. Anne smiled and she really proud with herself.
Entering middle school life, Anne improved her skill in fashion, Anne is also well-known
in her school for having good skill in the fashion. She began to make some clothes of her own
work. One day, Anne is called by her teacher to come to her room. Anne was scared and she
thought that she had a problem.
“Hi, miss. Why you called me to come to your room? Is there any problem?” asked Anne,
“No, there isn’t problem. I ask you to make stage costumes for vocal and dance groups at
school for your graduation. Can you do that?" her teacher smiled,
Anne was shocked, “Of course, I can. I will give you my best”
“That’s great! I will give you some money to buy sewing materials. If this money isn’t enogh,
you can ask me for more money.” Said her teacher.
“Okay, Thankyou miss.”
Anne was happy that day because this is her first time to make costumes that
requested by her teacher. After school, Anne went to the shop to buy sewing materials until
the day began dark. When Anne arrived home, Anne saw her mother was crying, Anne was
shocked , “what happened with my mother?” asked Anne,
“Mom, what happened with you? Please don’t cry mom..” said Anne,
“Our family's money gone to pay our rented house. I’m sorry” said mom and still crying,
“It’s okay mom, I will help you to find money, don’t worry about me, I can do that” anne tried
to calm her mother.
“Thank you Anne, I’m so sorry, your father and I aren’t parents who make you happy, we
aren’t able to buy the things you want” said her mother,
“I’m okay, the existence of you and my father is the most valuable treasure for me, so don’t
worry about me. I promise that I will be a succesful person in the future” said Anne. Her
mother smiled and they hugged. That night was very warm despite the family's economic
downturn.
Day by day, Anne went to school as usual and after school, she always worked on the
stage costumes assignments until the day she finished doing that.
“Miss, I’m already finished to make stage costumes” said Anne. Her teacher smiled, and she
checked the costumes one by one.
“Waww! What a good job! You really did it well! Thank you” Her teacher feels sattisfied with
the result. “Thankyou miss” said Anne.
“Now, you have to foccus on national exam, I hope you can passed it well” said her teacher
“Okay miss” said Anne.
Thinking about the national exam, made Anne feel sad. She worried that she couldn’t
continue his education to high school level, he realized that his parents were in economic
crisis. Anne often cried thinking about it. But, Anne was ready and sincere if she couldn’t
continue her education.
A night before the national exam day, suddenly her mother come to her room.
“Anne, I want to tell you something, but before that, I want to say sorry” said her mother,
“What’s wrong mom?” Anne confused,
“I’m sorry, you couldn’t continue your education to high school level, we haven’t enough
money.. huhuhu” said her mother,
“It’s okay mom, I understand the economic situation of our family, don’t worry about that. I
can be a successful person in other way” Anne smiled even though her heart hurt.
A year has passed since Anne graduated from junior high school, Anne took the
initiative to improve her sewing skills. She began her career as a fashion designer from a
rented house named "Griya Busana Permatasari" . She started his business diligently from zero
without having any knowledge of design at all.
 Efforts never betrayed the results, now Anne Avantie has become a well-known
Indonesian fashion designer through various kebaya collections of her work. Kebaya of her
work have been known on an international scale.
