The term PLC comes from the acronym for Programmable Logic Controler. It is electronic
equipment, which, as its name implies, has been designed to program and control sequential
processes in real time. In general, it is possible to find this type of equipment in industrial
environments. Among the functions that a PLC can fulfill are operations such as detection and
command, in which action data is prepared and sent to the preactuators and actuators. They also
fulfill the important programming function, being able to introduce, create and modify the
applications of the program

There are a wide variety of PLC models, which allows us to have advantages about the wiring
logic, also we can make the changes necessary in the program without having to change its
wiring, we managed to reduce notably a list of materials, and above all a very economic
unemployment times will be minimal, minimizing resources required.

As a great example we have within the automotive field, the PLC has a great importance since
we require fast, exact, and safe processes, since they must be able to produce cars in compliance
with
security, in this case it is known as Simatic PLCs which allows us automate machines and
facilities economically, among the large advantages we have a greater production capacity
thanks to the high speed of PLC data processing, product release reduction to market
guaranteeing a quality product thanks to the high precision in its production processes.
