2 Important Information
Scope: Circuit Meeting Room comprises two major SW parts:
 Operating System (OS) and related components (Dashboard)
 Circuit application (App)
The scope of this product release note covers the first item only. Information on other components is only
copied here if it relates to OS and/or Dashboard.

2.1 Installation
Updating to V1 R2.2.0 is supported from the following versions only:
 V0 R1.0.73
 V1 R0.1.0
 V1 R0.3.0
 V1 R0.3.1
 V1 R0.4.1
 V1 R1.0.0
 V1 R1.0.1
 V1 R2.1.0

2.2 Update
The software update can be done by pressing the “Online update“ => ”Install” button on the “Software” tab
of the Dashboard. Alternatively the software package can be downloaded manually from the Unify SWS and
then be installed via the “Update from file” controls on the Dashboard. Only suitable software packages are
accepted by the device and will initiate the update process.

Note: Starting with V1 R2.2.0 the Circuit App is included in the software image. Once the App has been
registered to Circuit, it will periodically check for updates at the Circuit backend to which it is registered, and
install them if available.

2.3 Fallback
The device contains a backup partition which will boot automatically in case the software update should fail.

4 Restrictions, Workarounds and Hints
4.1 Restrictions
Dual Display configuration: If the idle screen is not shown correctly, please reboot the device.
Note that displays should be powered on before starting up the Circuit Meeting Room. Displays supporting
stand-by operation are usually detected once they become active again, but some models do not support this
way of operation correctly.
The correct display content is:
 Primary display: Name and PIN shown
 Secondary display: Green logo without name shown on grey backround
