Evolution is the key to life

We live in a world where everything is constantly changing. Even in a short amount of time

you can see changes happening with your very own eyes, but if we take a step back and review

our history, we can see that there is so much more change. Evolution is an ongoing situation, and

it will continue to change years and years. Thanks to technology we have be able to collect data

throughout the years. This has made it easier and cheaper to do research and be able to see the

changes that have occurred over years.

Evolution is the reason we have so many changes and the reason we have so many

different types of species. There are so many shared characteristics in life. The existence of

many different species is what inspired Charles Darwin to write a book called  The Origin of

Species (Urrey et al 2020). The book contains a hypothesis that includes a scientific

explanation of evolution. Darwin came up with a phrase that could define evolution as descent

with modification (Urrey et al 2020). Meaning that earths many species are descendants of

our ancestral species that were different from the species that are present today.

Evolution can depend on many different things, such as; a change in scientific disciplines,

including biology, geology, physics and chemistry (Urrey et al 2020). None of these would be

possible if a single cell didn’t exist. The cell is the smallest unit of an organization that performs

activities required for life. Without a cell, life in type of form would not exist. There are different

cell types of cells which include eukaryotic, which contain a nucleus, and prokaryotic, which do

not. Prokaryotes are single-celled organisms, while eukaryotes can be either single-celled or

multicellular. Some of these cells can be specified more depth, meaning some are stem cells,

cancer cells, muscle cells, the list goes on and on.

A new species could arise from an ancestral accumulation depending on the type of

environment they have been around. Adaptations of where people are changing the whole form

of the evolution. Being able to explain these adaptations was very important for people to

understand how it worked. Darwin’s way to explain these adaptations is called natural selection.

This is a process in which an individual has certain inherited traits to help survive and reproduce

at higher rates because of those traits (Urrey et al 2020).

Certain traits contain certain cells, which mean that these specific cells have specific DNA

which sets us all apart from each other and helps us understand the evolution of the human life.

Keep in mind the evolution not only has to do with humans but also with plants, bacteria's,

animals. All these cells have different DNA’s that change over the course of time. DNA is key to

every living cell; it has thousands of genes that identify each and every one of us. If we were all

the same, nothing would be different. A simple bacterium could wipe us all down.

Evolution is the key to everything in our life. With evolution we can study

many things; such as humans, animal, bacteria, viruses, it helps us solve biological problems that

impact our lives. With evolution we can study histories and diseases. Evolution is the key to

solve many problems that are currently uncontrolled and have no explanation such as HIV,

Cancer, ALS, etc. These are things that we can study from evolution and someday come up with

a cure. We are the key to the future.
