Course Design

Class Type
I would go for a mix of live and Pre-recorded videos. Concepts which need no/less student’s
interaction can be delivered by pre-recorded video whereas the live case discussion or students
doubt clarification can be conducted online.

Student Performance Evaluation


I would like to distribute it in two parts 1.Internal (70%) 2.External (30%)
1. Internal – It can be further bifurcated in three parts
a. Group Assignment (30%) – A long case study can be provided which would require
involvement of all team members (Different assignment to different group- Random
pairing preferable). For Grading we can have 3 parameters. First would be overall
quality of submission, everyone in group would get same marks. Second would be
Feedback among the team member on different parameter. Each student has to give
marks for their team members and then average of all the marks for a student can be
considered. Third can be a group presentation in which each student has to explain their
part/contribution in the project.
b. Individual Assignment (20%) – Short case study or assignment to be completed
within timeframe. Individual marking for this part
c. Mini Tests (20%) – Proctored test on concepts taught in the classes. This can be
conducted twice covering 30% of the syllabus in first test and 70% of the syllabus in
second quiz.

2. External – This would cover whole syllabus and can comprise of both case studies and direct
conceptual questions. Conducted at the end of the course.
