In the snare of Bangalore traffic

We all have experienced the infamous Bangalore traffic making thousands of victims every day.
Recently I fell prey to one.

Already late for work, I rushed and drew car out from my narrow parking, nearly escaping scratches
on my new mars red eco-sport. It was already 7:15 am and soon the traffic will start to grow. To
make it to the 9 o’clock meeting, I knew I had to take the shortcut. Relying on my instinct, I took the
lake road from JP Nagar, planned to take a diversion at Jaya-deva flyover. Dreaming of the accolades
I’ll receive for the fantastic proposal for the client, I had labored on last night, I took a fateful left
turn. To my horror, Jaya-deva flyover was in rubbles. It was as though an earthquake had struck,
affecting only the flyover. But what was more horrific was an 8 km long traffic jam till silk board.
Panicking I checked google maps searching for another way to my office in Eco world. To my dismay,
entire map was colored red. By this time, it was too late to reverse my car as the growing traffic had
already blocked my way. It was 9:30 now, and my car had hardly moved half a km in the jam. My
hope to receive accolades was lost forever.
