Interpretation

WORLD POVERTY STATISTICS


 This info graphics represents the world poverty statistics in different aspects like child
poverty statistics, poverty to wealthy ratio statistics etc.
 It says 50% of the world population lives on less than $2.50 per day and 80% lives on
less than $10.
 About 75% of the total world’s income is accounted by the 20% richest of the world.
 The info graphics shows that, due to poverty around 22,000 children die each day due
to lack of hospitality and other reasons
 80% of the world population lives where there are income differential widening.
 In developing countries about 1.1 billion people have an inadequate access to water
and due to water related illness around 443 million school days have been lost
because the income level is very low to find other sources for it.
 Under the child poverty section, it explains that among 2.2 billion children 1 billion
children live in poverty.
 Among 640 million children 1 in 3 live without proper shelter, among 400 million
children 1 in 5 live without proper water and among 270 million children 1 in 7 live
without the access to health care.
 It also represents that 1.4 million children die annually because of the lack of
adequate drinking water and proper sanitation.
 In the section of poverty to wealthy ratio statistics there is a great increase in the
poverty level from the year 1820 to 2013.
 In 1820 it was 3/1 which has increased to 11/1 in 1913.
 In 1950 it was 35/1 which has increased to 44/1 in 1973, it was 72/1 in 1992 and 88/1
in 2013.

Conclusion:
From this data we could conclude that the level of poverty is increasing drastically from
year to year. Especially in the developing countries, because of their economic conditions
and lack of education there are lot of health issues, over population, lack of sanitation the
level of poverty is very high.

● 13 people out of 100 will be Hindus.
● 06 people out of 100 will be Buddhists.
● 03 people out of 100 will be Atheists.
● 01 people out of 100 are Jews.
● 01 people out of 100 will be Sikh.
● 11 people out of 100 will belong to Other Religions
● 11 people out of 100 will be Non-Religious.

Locality: The locality of the Population on Earth is categorised into Urban and Rural.
● 47 out of 100 people will live in urban area, whereas,
● 53 out of 100 people will live in rural and village areas.

Nationality: The Nationality of Population on Earth is Divided as per 7 Continents, and as


follows
● 61 out of 100 people are Asians.
● 13 out of 100 people are Africans.
● 12 out of 100 people are Europeans.
● 8 out of 100 people are North Americans
● 5 out of 100 people are South Americans and Canadians
● 1 out of 100 people is Australian.

Other General Estimates:


● 20 people out of 100 will own 75% of world Income.
● 1 (person aged between 15 to 49) out of 100 people has AIDS.
● 18 people out of 100 live without any improved water service.
● 21 people live on US$ 1.25$ or less.
● 12 people are Disabled out of 100.
● 14 are hungry or malnourished in the total 100 people.
● 12 people out of 100 can’t read.
