My take on this issues i

I would definitely encourage the use the standard English as well as Malaysian English, even though the
Malaysian English and the way of speaking it has been instilled into each Malaysian due to its unique
slang.. as an individual the standard English should be practiced on a daily basis because it follows the
correct grammatical structure, pronunciation and the slang.. however we must also understand that
there is no right way in speaking the English language. As long as the grammar is right and it follows the
structure, the language will be considered as right. Moreover, the as Malaysians, we must also embrace
the uniqueness of our language because sometimes our identity is based on how we speak the
languages strictly use Standard English.

my own perspective.
