Reflection:

1.  A lot of what I've learned in this class relates to a Medical Assistant course I took six

months ago, in both classes I learned a lot about health during different developing stages like,

childhood and pregnancy. This class was a good refresher because we learned how the body runs

and functions. We talked a lot about diseases and ways to prevent them. I know this class will

help me when I get into the nursing program because of the information we went over. This class

was also helpful because I learned a lot of new information in this class about health.

2. I feel like before this course I had a general understanding of health and I actually knew a

lot more information about than I thought, however there were some areas where I struggled or

had missing pieces of information, for example, I learned natural vitamins and minerals are very

important to your body but too much much can be either harmful or unnecessary. The

textbook helped me the most with misunderstood information. I also really enjoyed reading

different health articles and listening to ted talks.
