UNUSUAL LAW ESSAY

Unusual law: In Michigan, you can't sell your vehicle on a Sunday due to religious reasons.
In my opinion, the law should not be founded upon religious reasons because one of its
purposes is to protect liberties and rights from violations even from the same government.
When laws are based on religion, they are (most of the times) built according to just one
religion and ignore the rest of them; it cares about only a percentage of the people. In this
case, we can see that people that belong to a different religion or don’t have a specific one
are forced to obey something that comes from a religion they don’t believe in and that is
clearly a violation to freedom of thought, belief and religion.
