In a room full of magnum opuses, only a few can catch your attention and

move your heart. I appreciated everyone’s art but only some got me. On the
category of photography, this photo entitled “Mother’s Love “can be found. It was
taken by Aillene Belga of BD-2A- a complete stranger to me but I can say has a
talent in picking up a subject.

Well, the reason I chose this might be quite obvious. It represents a loftier
reality. Relying on my own interpretation, this signifies three things: poverty,
illiteracy and a mother’s unconditional love. Eyeing this photo, the mother may be
wishing to afford buying some food- to have some money to do so. But again,
reality strikes, they are penniless. And this truth actually saddens and hurts
people who experience such. The only thing they can do is to try and work hard in
order to survive. Some may say, “Hindi ko naman kasalanan kung ba’t sila ganyan”.
Yes, we don’t. But, we can make simple changes not only for the betterment of
ourselves but for people like them- in which, just like any other people, needs help
too.
 On the other hand, this photo also shows a mother’s unconditional love. Despite
of the poverty they are in; the mother never leaves her child. Other people may
have something they need but not all of them chooses to be a mother- a good one.
That’s why mothers who strives hard for their children are the best people that
everyone should appreciate.

Aside from this photo, here are some other artworks I want to add up:

The two paintings above show our culture and the beauty of our nature. The
photo on the left side showcases the magnificent Mayon Volcano. The serenity of
the painting is too appreciable. It seems like this volcano provides a one-of-a-kind
view that you’ll never thought it can also be a disastrous one. It is a perfect
manifestation that all beautiful things have scars too. On the right side, it
showcases a Bicolana beauty and the culture within us. It is undoubtedly true that
our beauty is exceptional. It shows the traditional clothing worn by a maiden- that
can be rarely observed nowadays. The modesty and feminine look of women back
then.

We are surrounded by beautiful arts. And, people aren’t done of creating

more. With these arts, the world has been more beautiful and colorful. Those
clicks and captures, the brushes and strokes and the untired hands create
excellent artworks. The soul of a good art lies within all of us and this vary from
each and one of us. The only thing we have to do is discover what is within us and
what our world is. Above all, the talents of BUeños are highly amazing. These arts
proved that. They are full of creative ideas. All masterpieces are awesome and
breathtaking. With these, I can conclude that the Art Exhibit 2020 is a success
not only to those who participated but of everyone.
