I think it won't disappear because their people are very strong.

They are no going to be as many as there are now, but they will remain.
They're not going to be many people speaking Penan.
Their lands are some mining and logging companies’ interest, so they

destroy their forests.

Big companies are building different things such as hotels and allowing

people to get closer to them


They haven't changed anything in their culture for 400 years.

They have a fairly large population


The Penan of Malaysia is a nomadic culture that is fighting to keep their way of

existence and their forest home alive. Unfortunately, I think their culture won’t

survive because of the poorly compromise of the government. Since their lands

are logging companies’ interest, their forests are not going to last longer.
