The Penan of Malaysia is a nomadic culture

that is fighting to keep their way of existence and their

forest home alive. Unfortunately, I think their culture
won’t survive because of the poorly compromise of the
government. Since their lands are logging companies’
interest, their forests are not going to last longer.
Also, big companies are systematically building on
their spaces, and the government doesn’t make any
effort to preserve their lands. Moreover, their kids
receive education in villages, so being away from their
culture will be interference between them and their
roots. However, the Penan’s faith is also connected to
them not adapting to the modern world. Nonetheless,
when greed weighs more than nature, many natural
spaces are carelessly left secondhand. By the time
governments realize that we as a planet depend on
nature, they won’t be able to stop the destruction that
will be held in the name of a modern world.
