that is fighting to keep their way of existence and their
forest home alive. Unfortunately, I think their culture won’t survive because of the poorly compromise of the government. Since their lands are logging companies’ interest, their forests are not going to last longer. Also, big companies are systematically building on their spaces, and the government doesn’t make any effort to preserve their lands. Moreover, their kids receive education in villages, so being away from their culture will be interference between them and their roots. However, the Penan’s faith is also connected to them not adapting to the modern world. Nonetheless, when greed weighs more than nature, many natural spaces are carelessly left secondhand. By the time governments realize that we as a planet depend on nature, they won’t be able to stop the destruction that will be held in the name of a modern world.
