NOTES:
1. All data based on ISO standard conditions of 29.54 inches Hg. (100 kPa) barometric pressure, 77°F (25°C) ambient and
induction air temperature, 30% relative humidity (0.3 inches Hg / 1 kPa water vapor pressure), 180°F (82°C) engine jacket
water temperature, with a of 0.5 g/bhp-hr NOx emissions setting.
2. Step load data shown is recorded against a resistive load bank. Load changes shown were recorded with a maximum
frequency dip of 10% and a recovery time to rated frequency of less than 20 seconds.
3. The standard 275GL+ Enginator, when packaged by Waukesha, meets an ISO 8528-5 performance class of G3 for all
parameters except voltage and frequency recovery times. Since these recovery times do not fall within G1 or G2
requirements, the entire unit is considered to be class G4 (AMC, or agreement between manufacturer and customer).
4. Ramp load data shown is representative of operating parallel to the utility. Time shown is recorded from circuit breaker
closing to 100% load. Set up fuel system per the latest revision of form 6354, 12V/16V275GL+ Operation and
Maintenance Manual. For optimal performance, on-site tuning may be required.
5. Startup time requires 90 seconds for prelube plus up to 70 seconds to reach synchronous speed after starting. This
assumes Waukesha’s recommendations for jacket water, lube oil, and inlet air heating are followed. For faster start,
contact Application Engineering regarding intermittent prelube requirements.
6. This performance is what can be expected from a standard 275GL+ Enginator packaged by Waukesha. Transient
performance is affected by voltage regulator tuning and generator inertia.
7. The 275GL+ engines were calibrated using a generator that has a moment of inertia of 7809 lb-ft2 (329 kg-m2). Refer to
the 275GL+ ESM manual for adjusting driven equipment inertia.
8. Percent of rated load refers to the site rated power after all derates are taken into account.
