Document Tit olicy on Loss of Company Property ee Nos Hy Prepared by | te Department eae | Approved by “Abhinav Thakur | Policy on Loss of Laptop/Mobile/ Simcard issued by the Company to employee Objective: Accurex provides its employees with assets and resources for smooth functioning. Employees are expecied to exercise caution in using these resources, assets and keep them safe and protected, In case an employee looses these resources or causes any damage to them this policy is laid down to make good the loss suffered by the organization. Scope: All employees/consultants who are allotted company Laptop, Mobile handset & Sim card or either of the mentioned resources. Torms & Conditions Laptop Employee must report theft (or suspected thett) or other loss of the computer within 48 hours to the ‘Administration’System Administration/HR of Accurex and to the police department in the jurisdiction in Which the theft or loss is believed to have occurred. Accurex may bill employee for the replacement cost ‘of the laptop and accessories, if employee fail to report theft or loss or suspected theft or loss within 48 hours. To receive a replacement computer, employee shall have to submit a written copy of the police report to the Administration Department. Irrespective of above, in cases of theft or loss, employee may be responsible for (Actual cost upon depreciation ~ Insurance claim received value) of the laptop and the same shall be recovered from Employee, at the option of Accurex, either from his salary or otherwise, Mobile Handset & Sim Card In case of loss of mobile phone by the employee, it's his/her responsibility to immediately inform the Administration Department about the same and also report to the police department in the jurisdiction in which the theft or loss is believed to have occurred. It's the responsibility of the Administration Department to immediately deactivate the number to avoid any misuse of the SIM Company will not be responsible for any misuse of the mobile number. To receive a replacement mobile and simeard, employee shall have to submit a written copy of the police report to the Administration Department. Irrespective of above, in cases of theft or loss, employee may be responsible for (Actual cost upon depreciation ~ Insurance claim received value) of the Mobile and the same shall be recovered from Employee, at the option of Accurex, either from his salary or otherwise Amendments to the Policy ‘Any changes made in the existing policy will be communicated in writing.
