1 People are caring more and more these days about where their clothes come from. And this means companies like Edun are getting more attention. Ali
Hewson spent five weeks in ethiopia, Africa, in 1985 during a major famine. After That, She created edun wanted to bring more business into africa.

Ninety-Five per cent of the collection is made in sub- Saharan Africa. There are two factories in Madasgacar and one in kenya. These
Factories are employing local people, mainly Women, giving them good, stable jobs. And all the money is put back into the company so there are no profits
righ now.

Bono doesnt attend fashion shows, but hes very involved with Edun. Hewson says that his priority is his "day job" , That is , singing in U2.
