Road Routes From Various Directions

Route 1: From the East and London on the M4

Leave by exit 5, signed Slough East, Colnbrook, Eton B470, and take second exit B470
to Datchet and Eton. Turn right in Datchet and continue straight over mini-
roundabout through village towards Slough. 300 metres beyond the village green
turn left to Eton at another mini-roundabout. Leave Datchet, past fields and the
Thames Valley Athletics Centre, and turn left at T-junction (mini-roundabout). You are
now in Slough Road on the Approaches Map.

Route 2: From the North on the M1

Leave by exit 6A signed M25 westbound to M40, Slough, Heathrow Airport. Leave
the M25 at exit 15 signed M4, Slough, the West. Join the M4 and continue to Eton by
route 1.

Route 3: From Gerrard’s Cross on the B416

Enter Slough and continue to roundabout; take second exit, signed Eton and
Windsor. Continue straight over three sets of traffic lights and under M4 to another
roundabout; take first exit, to Eton. You are now in Slough Road on the Approaches
Map.

Route 4: From Watford, Rickmansworth, and Denham on the A412

At M40 exit 1 take A412 to Slough. Enter Slough central area and at large, complex
junction turn right (third exit) into Wellington Street for Town Centre. Cross first
roundabout and take first exit from second roundabout, to Windsor. As you turn left
keep on right-hand side and pass traffic lights. Pass through two more sets of traffic
lights and under the motorway. At next roundabout take first exit and you are in
Slough Road on the Approaches Map.

Route 5: From Birmingham and Oxford on the M40

Leave by exit 4 and take third main roundabout exit A404 to Marlow, Maidenhead,
M4. Join M4 eastbound to London. Then follow route 6.

Route 6: From Reading and the West on the M4

Leave by exit 7, At the end of the motorway spur, turn left at the roundabout onto
the A4 towards Maidenhead, then left at the next roundabout onto the B3022 to
Eton Wick, passing Sainsbury's supermarket on your right. Continue on this road
through Eton Wick and you will arrive in central Eton on the Eton Wick Road on the
Approaches Map. Please note that the speed limits on this stretch are often
enforced.

Route 7: From South of the River Thames

E.g. Bracknell, Ascot, Camberley, Bagshot, M3, A30, A332. NOTE: THERE IS NO DIRECT
ROUTE OVER THE RIVER FROM WINDSOR INTO ETON.
All routes converge on Windsor — follow the signs. On entering Windsor follow signs
to Slough, Eton, M4. These lead to major roundabouts which in turn all converge on
a junction at the south end of the Windsor Relief Road (A332). The
junction/roundabout is shown on the Approaches Map. Take the exit for the A332
Slough, Eton, M4 and pass over the River Thames. Filter into left-hand lane to take
slip road signposted A332 Slough Town Centre and Eton. Having turned off left
continue to roundabout and take second exit, to Eton. You are now in Slough Road on
the Approaches Map.

Route 8: From Staines and Egham

Follow A308 for Windsor, past Runnymede and through Old Windsor. Continue to
large roundabout (there are buildings inside this roundabout), move to right-hand
side and take second major exit to Datchet B3021 and Slough B3026. One mile after
crossing the River Thames you pass very close alongside the water on your left; at
this point turn right signed Datchet and Slough, pass over level-crossing and turn left
at Datchet towards Slough; 300 metres on, turn left to Eton at a mini-roundabout.
Then follow route 1.

Route 9: Using the M25 — northbound and southbound

Leave by exit 15 westbound onto the M4 and thereafter follow route 1.
