1. Conduct a review of the sources on terminology and translation competence
development.
2. Submit a hardcopy of your research project, which should be presented like this: Font:
Times New Roman or Arial; Font size: 12; Lines spacing 1.5. Word count 2000-2500
words; references/list of sources.
3. Assessment: written report 100%.

 Provide conceptual definitions with examples of the following concepts: Terminology,

Lexis, Word, Term, Domain, Register, Style, Jargon, LSP, Genus, Anchor Word,
Hypernym, Hyponym, Lexeme, Meaning, Sense, Primary Sense and Secondary Sense.
You may include other concepts you may came across during your research that you find
relevant for the translator as a terminologist. In some cases you may need to compare or
contrast concepts as a way of clarifying them.
