Minimum Content: The term paper should at least cover issues such as the concept of human
dignity from the world cultures perspective, including but not limited to its historical
background, development, slavery, clan system; importance and theoretical linkage
between dignity and human rights, the place of dignity in the international human
rights laws; foreign experience such as Germany and South Africa; dignity in the
Ethiopian context. You should also address the issues using theoretical concepts,
cultural perspectives, normative or legal perspective (National and international), and
court decisions. Along with this, you should provide your own ideas on the issues.
Form of Preparation: Handwritten.
Reference and Citation: You must provide references for all ideas and expressions you take
from other authors using any standard citation rules such as Harvard, Oxford,
Bluebook or others. You should not use website resources such as Wikipedia as
reference or resource that have author.
