University of Liverpool Application Instructions for MSc in Project Management

1) Documents: Send us an scan copy of the following documents:


A. An official ID that has your name and date of birth on it (e.g. passport or driving licence)
B. Your highest-level educational certificate/s (e.g. your Bachelor’s degree, etc.)
If your educational certificates are in a different name to your current ID we will need a copy of
your marriage certificate or other proof of change of name. Your degree should be in English ore

C. Any other documents/credentials to support your application (e.g. registration documents
or memberships
D. A letter of recommendation:
 This needs to be from your employer or a professional acquaintance (direct

 It should state how long the author has known you and their relation to you (e.g.
employer, manager, etc.)
 It should describe your professional duties
 It should express the author's opinion that you are operating professionally at a
level equal to or higher than graduate level and say why they think this
 It should state that they recommend you for acceptance to our online Masters
programme
 It should refer to any skills that are particularly relevant to the programme you are
applying for; for example, on the MBA programme it should refer to your
management abilities, on the Law programmes it should give examples of your
critical thinking ability.

study Project Management specifically?

2) Mention one or two of the modules in the programme content that are most interesting to you
and explain how you hope these modules will benefit you

3) What skills and knowledge do you already have to contribute to discussions with your
classmates in the class? Consider that this is an international programme with people from
many different countries and professional backgrounds.

4) Please explain how the programme links in with your future goals or career development
aspirations.
